An attempt at Church Street, Warwick. The technique is based on that used by Jim Watson in his Sketchbook series i.e. 0.3mm pen with watercolour washes. The colours aren't right in spite of many attempts. Also I chose to simplify the cars as this is meant to be a sketch............

This one was drawn with a more relaxed style. All items except the cars were painted with a mixes of ultramarine, yellow ochre and alazarin crimson. The cars were painted with ultramarine blue and the two adjacent colours of the twelve colour wheel.

As above but with shadow added.
